Dear friends,
Yes, we are still at home.
We did visit our kids in Canada.
Although we have recovered from
our travels and are ready to go,
Jörg's 'Baby' has fallen ill. You want
to know more? Simply scroll over
small pictures.
When and where we will head out again,
you'll hear from us. Until then,
so long, lebt wohl, hasta luego.
Marjorie and Jörg

So, and to whomever has clicked
his way to this page I will reveal a
secret:
Marjorie is celebrating one of those big birthdays!
She is trying to hide in Canada! But Jörg
used his Paparazzi skills to find her
and even uploaded a few pictures of her
into the web. Hopefully, he survives the revenge. ;-(
Using the pictures, you'll be able
to figure out how old she is turning
on May 9. To find the pictures,

We wanted to sleep in our own bed,
without being woken up by some generator
or being kept up by strange noises outside
of our car. We wanted to have a nice long shower.
We did visit our children in Canada where (not only)
Jörg worked around the house at (not only) his son.
We wanted to enjoy the best Cappuccino in the world
at the Wilden Mann and shop at the farmers' market.
We wanted to drink a nice cold beer
(German, of course) and eat real bread.
We wanted to see the colour green again, real lush
green. We wanted to go see a good movie.
We wanted to visit our friends.

We wanted to just be home again for a while.
Our Toyota Landcruiser HZJ 105 has survived three years of heavy load and long kilometers over rough terrain without the smallest accident; however, he definitely does not like being home. The proof: We barely made it home last summer and a small car drove into him. On Monday morning, directly in front of our house, on it's usual parking spot. (see picture) After some small excursions, he is back in front of the house, this time with a more severe illness: transmission damage. Man, we really have to get going again. Too many bad things happening at home. ;-)

But to all you young dynamic folks (everybody younger than 65!) who are currently traveling or can only dream of traveling, these are my two cents for you: It is easier to face two Mexican Banditos than fight a shi**y illness. But Grandma and Grandpa will be back. No worries. We will meet you again on the road. We do like you. You keep us young. But that had to be said.

We wish you a save return
               from your adventurous travels.

               See you soon,
the old crow with the young chick.
